Position Summary

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a confidential California-based association to identify a Manager of Business Development. This leadership role is responsible for driving strategic partnerships, increasing revenue growth, managing key partner relationships, and identifying new business opportunities that support the organization's long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development and revenue growth strategies.
  • Manage and grow strategic partner relationships.
  • Identify and secure new partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with membership and marketing teams to support growth initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and market opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a small business development and partner services team.
  • Track and achieve revenue, partnership, and growth goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, account management, or strategic partnership experience.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue and building strong client relationships.
  • Experience leading teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).

Preferred Experience

  • Association, hospitality, restaurant, or service-industry experience.
  • Strategic planning and partnership marketing experience.
